Superb room and facilities. I arrived on my bike and the host, Pascal, was there to meet me and was very friendly. This place is first class. Really peaceful and private. The room is large and facilities are perfect. Everything provided and very comfortable. The local town is lovely and I ate out there on the evening. I loved my stay here! Highly recommended.

The gîte is very well located, close to the Vallon du Pont...

The gîte is very well located, close to the Vallon du Pont d'Arc (Chauvet Cave), with canoeing down the Ardèche River and swimming in the Ibie River nearby. The gîte (Les Salelles) is a very pretty hamlet surrounded by nature, and the village of Saint-Maurice-d'Ibie is just a few kilometers away. There is a restaurant in the hamlet of Les Salelles.

A clean and charming village where time seems to have stood...

A clean and charming village where time seems to have stood still. However, it's on a very busy road due to the proximity of the Pont d'Arc. The lack of a bakery and a restaurant due to renovation of the only restaurant is a shame. In short: a good base for beautiful hikes and exploring the Ardèche.

A small stone village with a crossing over the Ibie River,...

A small stone village with a crossing over the Ibie River, and a visit to the "Moon Hole" (a 10-minute drive away) is highly recommended. There's a lovely little restaurant where the food is good and the service is excellent.
