Top class breakfast. A friendly caring welcome to a traditional house with a good ambience. Very clean and comfortable. Able to park conveniently outside. Wi-Fi and other facilities all worked well. Location in the main street but quiet at night. A lovely little unspoilt town located in the centre of Pays d'Auge.

We had a fantastic stay at "La Maison de 1868". From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt truly at home. The hospitality was outstanding – genuine, thoughtful, and incredibly friendly. Located in a peaceful and picturesque area along the "Route du Cidre," the location was absolutely charming. It was a unique and personal experience that we will always remember. We Highly recommend the "La Maison de 1868"! 🙂👍

Very rural which was what we wanted - three children under 10 - excellent play facilities inside (playroom) and outside (toys) and great swimming pool. Extra touches i.e. karaoke machine ! Clean, comfortable beds,towels etc., Rustic decor with lots of quirky, interesting items. Good communication with hosts.

Fantastic Gite thats been tastefully renovated in a peaceful location. Very well presented with everything you need provided by the hosts. From toilet paper to coffee pods to charcoal for the BBQ, the Gite had every utensil you could need and was very clean and tidy. It was nicely decorated and tastefully furnished. We had a fantastic stay Highly recommended.

Stuart was brilliant making sure everything was sorted and ready for our stay, even though it was a last minute booking because of a change in our plans. The property, setting and location were all lovely. The appartment comprised 3 spacious and well equipped rooms and had everything we needed for a very comfortable night. Would certainly recommend.

    I did not really go into the village , my daughter did feel...

    I did not really go into the village , my daughter did feel that it was a little empty - not many shops and only the one supermarket although a great Boulanger . It was a very quiet rural place which to be honest was what we were looking for

    Saint Pierre is typical of an average sized Norman town.

    Saint Pierre is typical of an average sized Norman town. There is a good range of places to shop including Lidl and Casino (a shopping chain - NOT a casino!). the latter has a petrol station. There is an excellent street market every Monday and an ancient abbey. There are restaurants in the town but we didn't need to use them. Getting around is easy, as is parking. Nothing to avoid.
