We had to stay here for a few nights after our car broke down on the way home, and we couldn’t have wished for a better place. The team were incredibly warm and welcoming, with a truly positive and personal approach. They really pay attention to every detail, which made our unexpected stay feel extra special and comfortable. Everything, as are visits before we were looked after from the minute we arrived till the moment we left. Chako is an absolute treasure and her enthusiasm for looking after her guest's is fabulous. Breakfast is a feast which was far more than we could eat and the best coffee I had all the time we were away.

We loved everything about La Closerie St-Jacques! Our suite was decorated beautifully - a wonderfully tasteful mix of old and new, with a large and cosy bed, a separate dressing area, and a modern shower room. Jean-Luc and Jérôme are superb hosts - warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful (even going so far as to book restaurants in advance and a taxi for a wedding we were attending). The breakfasts were a real treat - freshly served and different each morning (including fruit, homemade yoghurts and tarts, honey, jam, crepes…). Every last detail had been thought about, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into the decoration and service. An exceptional stay all round.
