The host was super, not invasive at all, but available if we had a question or needed advice on where to eat or shop, etc. The cottage was perfect for a couple. Full oven and hob to cook on. Most of the cooking utensils were there, along with a large fridge with a freezer compartment. The woodburner was also a nice touch as it was wet and stormy the weekend that we stayed and the host had lit it for our arrival so it was lovely and warm inside. The bathroom was a good size, and the hot water for the shower was plentiful. The host provided towels. The bedroom was calm and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Outside, the private terasse was a nice touch with table and parasol. The swimming pool was heated, and inside under cover was really romantic. Fabulous! Breakfast was out of this world! Cereals, pastries, cheeses, hams and charcuterie, yoghurt, eggs, homemade jams. Fresh bread and fruit salad of the season, vegetables, and nuts. We couldn't have asked for more, and it was more than we expected. A lovely surprise! We'd recommend this stay to a couple. It was a real romantic break. 5* Without a doubt.

Our car broke down on the way back to England, and we spent 3 unexpected nights at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as near to where our car was towed off the motorway. There were supermarkets nearby and a 15 - 20 minute stroll into the old town, which was lovely. The rooms were clean and very comfortable as well as air conditioned, and the staff were exceptional, they were so friendly and helpful to us and most spoke English, our French is very limited! Breakfast was great & on our last night we had dinner, which was delicious and very reasonable. I could not fault this hotel and would highly recommend it and its staff.

We couldn't have asked for more, and it was more than we expected. A lovely surprise! We'd recommend this stay to a couple. It was a real romantic break. 5* Without a doubt.

Our car broke down on the way back to England, and we spent 3 unexpected nights at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as near to where our car was towed off the motorway. The rooms were clean and very comfortable as well as air conditioned, and the staff were exceptional, they were so friendly and helpful to us and most spoke English, our French is very limited! Breakfast was great & on our last night we had dinner, which was delicious and very reasonable. I could not fault this hotel and would highly recommend it and its staff.
