Very cosy and comfortable apartment with nice little touches and everything you need even for a long-term living. Was perfect for our family of 3. We also much appreciated a very friendly communication, a warm welcome note and complimentary bottle of natural apple juice from Delphine. The location was convenient for us as it was our first night stay on our road trip around France on our way from Luxemburg. We also found the most delicious eclaires we ever had in one of the bakeries in one of the villages nearby for breakfast.

The host was very friendly and helped us with diner and breakfast. We had a very good conversation in the shared garden. It is a very special place because it is next to a destroyed village in the so called red zone. We were on a cycling trip along the river Meuse. This place is 10 minutes away from the main sites of the battle of Verdun.. We will certainly come back and cherise a beautifull memory.

The location, price, and host’s hospitality were perfect for me. The place is modest but suited me perfectly. I loved the village’s quietness—it was an ideal retreat after a busy day. We stopped at Hotel Aster for one night on our trip between Calais and Alsace. Our room was attractive, functional and clean. The bed was comfortable and the location in the town of Briey was quiet, so we had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast included a variety of both cold and hot items. The highlight of our stay was dinner, which was excellent, and there was entertainment that night in the restaurant in the form of a “crooner” singing American and European songs from the 1950s and 1960s. The lady on the reception desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful. We would certainly stay at Hotel Aster again!
