Arriving in 36c heat we showered and dived into the pool. Then it was cold drinks at the bar and at 7:00 a gastronomic event, to understand how great you will have to experience it. Martin is a great host and an even better chef. Bicycle storage is secure and rooms are comfortable and ours was new.

This place was an absolute gem to break our journey from north to the south of France. So much so we tried to book and stay again on our return but alas; fully booked. This stay was as expected: rural and rustic. The evening menu was limited but tasty. The people were lovely. Wine and beer was flowing and cheap! Pool was cool but a welcome chance to refresh in the heat.

Nadine and her husband were the most welcoming and generous hosts that we have met on our travels. She, and the superb food she cooked for us, made this one of our 'top' experiences in a chambre d'hote. Nadine took great care to meet our dietary needs and thought carefully about the menu. Everything was of a very high quality, from the range of teas to the selection of fruits and breads for breakfast. We ate very, very well with food we would have enjoyed in a restaurant or in our own home. Food from her garden, from her kitchen, her hens and the region. Tasty, large portions and beautiful place settings. We were in Exotic, a ground floor room, large with exits to the small front garden and large back lawn and vegetable garden. It was a thoughtfully decorated room with a large, comfortable bed. The room is accessible and the dining area and shared lounge are on the same floor and reached from a door off the room. We were the only guests for our two night stay. Nadine is passionate about her role and very authentic and charming. She was a perfect host and met all our needs as travelling cyclists. Very highly recommended.

It is just a very nice place. Very professionally and completely renovated. The apartment is not only tastefully decorated but is also fully equipped. The town is small but pleasant and the surroundings are stunning. Great place to stay. We would have stayed longer if possible.
