Magnificent place to stay!!! At first I was reluctant to stay at this mill, because of small number of opinions, but eventually very good-looking photos of interior made me choose it. And a little risk turned out to be worth it! The mill is located about 20minutes from bigger city Beyeux and Omaha beach by car, in small town-village, so it can be a base to go to known attractions, also approximity to supermarket in Beyeux is a plus. The hotel is surrounded by small garden with small fruit trees, you can hear there many birds singing and there is a stork nest by the chimney :) The building is in fact an old mill (there is still a mill wheel outside, and big stones to grind flour) with recently renovated interior - the photos are very accurate - it looks plain and rustical but very luxurious and aesthetic. My room was very spacious, and had a gramophone with good choice of music. Also the bathroom was medium size, with bathrobes and good quality cosmetics. As for food and dining - hosts offer a breakfast of your own choice - all good I had there was fresh and delicious. There is also a kitchen and dining room with big window showing garden on the first floor. One can also ask owners about good nearby restaurants. They are very kind and will help you with everything if you ask them :)

What a wonderful stay, the location is amazing being right across the street from Omaha beach. We loved being able to watch the tides come in and out as the beach is totally overcome by the sea twice a day, its really something to see. It's such a quiet and peaceful spot that allows for unobstructed reflection on the events that occurred here. Omaha beach is a must see. Quite surreal to think about what occurred there. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with in all capacities from check-in to dining. We ate breakfast one morning at the hotel, it was lovely and had the expected European offerings we are used to, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, bread basket on the table with fresh jelly/jams, pastries, juice, coffee and tea. We ate dinner two evenings in the restaurant. The patio view and indoor decor are perfect. Explore and read some of the decor items in the restaurant and bar as the historical items are a great read. The drinks were tasty and the food was good. We enjoyed the seafood omelet, several pizzas, salads, shrimp and a soup. Our room was one floor up and had plenty of space inside for all our needs. It had three big windows that fully opened to receive all that sea breeze and salty air. The sun did go down late, about 11 pm and it did come up early, around 5am so if you need it dark to sleep I would suggest eye shades/mask if you want to leave the windows open. If you close the windows, you can completely block the outside light with the hand turned rouladens. We stayed 3 nts. A great central location to stay and move about to view the other Normandy area sites. Highly recommend walking around outside the property into the each and up the hill on the main road to see historical pieces. The D Day Museum up the street is really great and the family story is awesome not to mention that they actually have a few items in their museum not at other museums. I loved that the bathroom door closed two ways in our room.

The loveliest place with fantastic hosts! They were so helpful and friendly, and really went that extra mile to give our stay a silver lining. You can tell they run the place with pride and joy. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the room was perfect and spacious. The decor, bedlinen etc. were top quality and has a classic style with modern influences. Big and delicious breakfast. We highly recommend it!

The location was great and all the facilities were perfect. We enjoyed the cosiness of the place, felt very welcomed and relaxed in the garden. We contamplated buying the place for ourselves to be honest! Oh, and the animals that came to say hello! We can't remember all the names, but there was Django the dog, a bunch of chickens and a rooster, a random cat and the goat and pony kept us entertained all stay. We will definitely return!

Immaculate, newly finished and charming property. It was very well-equipped and family friendly. There was plenty of gated outdoor space with a BBQ and large table and chairs. The views from the property and the location in the Normandy countryside was stunning. It was within easy distance of beautiful beaches and Bayeux.

    Very pleasant village, free wi-fi, clean free public toilets open 24/7 no vandalism. 2 good bakery shops, a takeaway a burger/pizza restaurant, a small supermarket, a sports bar with a good selection of local beers and a very good restaurant, Le Trot, very busy, booking recommended.Good central location for visiting Normandy.The sports bar closes at 8-00 p.m. so if you are looking for late night fun this not the village for you.

    Trévieres seemed like the perfect base for a family trip to Normandy. It’s about 15 minutes from Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery and has all the basics you need. Bayeaux is relatively close for everything else. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the friendly people.
