Truyes is quiet but there is a wonderful small supermarket with English-speaking owners that has great fresh local meat, charcuterie, fruit and vegetables. Truyes is close to some of the top Chateaux of the Loire, Cher and Indrois valleys. Chenonceaux 30 mins away, Amboise, Loches and Villandry a little further.
