Comfy, cosy, authentic country gîte. Excellent value, everything one needs and wonderful for dogs. It was perfect for me, simple and charming. Not bling bling. Great hostess—thank you for the fresh flowers and bottle of rose! More space than I imagined, in two floors in a separate stone cottage with private access for the car. Too cold for the pool but it looks lovely!

The house looks just lovely in its location. Our room on the ground floor was very nice and comfortable, with a great view on the surrounding lawns and fields from our window and terrace. The breakfast was very good; the hotel provides pre-printed notes with items to choose from to avoid food waste (with regard to the choices of bread it could be made clearer that the items to choose from, like croissants and so on, are additional to the several sorts of bread that are available at the buffet anyway). We will certainly choose Villa Walbaum again if we ever come back to this region.

The property was really nice. Lots of funky details in common areas. The breakfast and dinner were great. The staff really helpful and kind. Rooms were great and clean. Highly recommend this hotel. The area is beautiful. Lots of activities and nice places to visit. Will stay again.

One of the best stays ever. Diner and breakfast was very good and cheap. I recommend the red wine. Parking was for free and personal was very easy going and friendly.

    The place was amazing, the bedroom, the swimming pool and the staff. The staff was helpful, welcoming and so nice. We stayed in the premium garden room, it was an excellent room, with sunbeds with a terrace looking at the big garden. It is a lovely place, we were really surprised in a good place. That bedroom and the accomodities were worth a 5-star hotel.

    Amazing hotel - a historic building that has very tastefully been renovated - only recently so everything’s perfect. V picturesque building. Gorgeous infinity pool and pool area. Great breakfast. Lovely evening meal in the courtyard. Super comfy beds. Welcoming host. We loved it. A real escape and FANTASTIC value for money.

    Sorry, we didn’t stay longer. For me with the 1 year old child it was really nice. The hotel had a huge garden with a nice grass where he was walking and playing and I didn’t need to worry. So I just enjoyed lying on the grass too. We also liked the swimming pool. And the breakfast was good.
