The location was ideal, just off the motorway - very convenient as we travelled back from the Alps to the UK. Anne-Lise was very helpful and speaks fluent English, which was great as unfortunately my French is very limited. We stayed in the cottage (not in the main gite) and self-catered but breakfast was available to us in the main house if we wanted it, along with the option of an evening meal. Parking is available on site and is in a secure area that is covered by CCTV and it's right next to the cottage/gite. We only had one overnight stay but I would love to go back in the summer and take advantage of the outside area with the gorgeous pool. Troyes is a city I would love to explore more - so we now know where to stay! This really is an amazing place and I'm sure everyone is impressed by the great hospitality and superb accommodation.

Absolutely lovely hotel ! Loved our room so comfortable and stunning bathroom . Bed and pillows were first class. Lovely bar lounge downstairs - delicious food and staff are brilliant. We enjoyed a relaxing evening listening to to a great jazz performance !

The hotel is located relatively close to the autoroute and is a good nightstop being approximately 4 hours from Calais. It is basic but represents good value for money. The room was very clean and the aircon was great. There are a number of places to eat within 10 mins walk and the nearest is a good steak restaurant next to the hotel. There is plenty of car park capacity and check-in is open until 2100; thereafter I understand that there is a method of obtaining the key code for access to the hotel.

The hôtel was perfect to be honest. Definitely will return here if we are in Troyes. The parking is great, two restaurant nearby, grocery store a 2 min drive with gas station and car wash. Beds were very comfortable, wifi,spacious room, breakfast was very standard, but it was enough for us. The staff was great and helpful, except one young woman on Sunday.

We used the accommodation as a stopover but we would certainly stay for longer next time. We do know the area and there is plenty to visit. Food prepared by hosts so really good quality local produce.

Very clean and well appointed, with very attentive hosts.

Very clean and well appointed, with very attentive hosts. But our room, a Superior Queen, was smaller than expected. Every room is different and it would be helpful if it were made more clear on Booking as to just which room we were actually booking.

There were absolutely no bad experiences!

There were absolutely no bad experiences! Our expectations were very high, but we were absolutely NOT disappointed! Next time we will stay longer, because we were not able to experience everything.......

Great location, 10 minutes from Troyes, a very beautiful city. Well worth a visit. Plenty of parking in Troyes. Many delicious restaurants. Ask the hosts of Villa la Croix for a tip; their recommendations were excellent! We will definitely be back!

A short bike ride on the evening of our arrival; shopping at MacArthurGlen. Rest and quiet. On the way back, we visited the botanical garden of Marney-sur-Seine (50 km from Villechetif). A very bucolic village and gardens well worth a visit.
