I only wish we could have stayed longer, wonderfully friendly hosts and amazingly comfortable cottage with every possible little thing thought of. A delight from start from to finish, and such a beautiful part of France.

Les papillons is in a beautiful location, very peaceful and relaxing. Everything has been thought of and nothing is too much trouble. Martine and Terry are excellent hosts and made Tig and I very welcome.

Excellent staff,patient as we do not speak much French. Lovely spacious room made up every day required. Great bathroom nice big fluffy towels. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch when we arrived. Superb service and food. Bar relaxing and staff great. Price for the week competitive.

La Grenouille Noire is a gem, not the least because of its host, Chris. The rooms are splendid and very comfortable, the atmosphere homey and laid back, and the cooking fabulous. The pictures are 100% accurate; the village is quaint and quiet set in beautiful rolling hills. Chris is a fabulous host and cook, so whatever you do, don’t forget to book dinner in advance, which includes all beverages and a home cooked three-course meal. We intend to return with our friends, just for the experience!

Sandrine and her husband are amazing hosts. Before I arrived, she texted about the dinner and breakfast options. When I arrived I was served a very delicious 3 course meal. The breakfast was good too. The place is very cute and comfortable.

A super relaxing place, right in the countryside, just the sound of birds and cows and that's it! Perfect for resting! Martine's little house (Les Papillons) is a charming place, well decorated, impeccably clean, and where you'll find everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Lovely hosts.

Lovely hosts. A short stay is recommended (the room is a bit dark and small). It was ideal for us, but we would have been annoyed to stay longer. The thoughtful touches—games, books, and a breakfast basket—were delightful.
