Such a generosity of spirit about this place. Very friendly host for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. Lots of thoughtful little touches, such as free bottles of water (large ones!) and even bags of crisps. Sunny seaside vibe to the rooms, great location and generous breakfast.

We had great time in the apartment. It's very nicely arranged and very well equipped. We had two terraces and a grill at our disposal. The kitchen is very nicely arranged and equipped. Livingroom, bedrooms, bathroom - all was great. Internet connection was perfect. There is Carrefour just few steps away and it's a walking distance from Wimereux with all its attractions. Contact with the owners was also very good.

A bustling town with independent shops, cafés and restaurants. A wide esplanade and a very safe beach make it ideal for families. The people are friendly and will help if your French is not up to askinng questions. Very busy on a Sunday so if you want lunch go in early. Parking can be an issue, it's pay parking but not expensive and free between 12:00 and 2:00 There is a one way system which you soon get used to.

Wimereaux is a typical seaside town, and not one that I would choose to return to except that we required a hotel that took dogs. There are plenty of reasonable quality restaurants and tourist gift shops but nowhere to exercise dogs on grass or a natural surface. The town is clean and generally felt safe (however, as we were eating supper at a restarant on the main street, approximately 50 migrants (one boat load) walked past, heading for the beach. There was a sinister air as they passed, in silence, with life jackets to hand).

We have visited and stayed in Wimereux many times, sometimes...

We have visited and stayed in Wimereux many times, sometimes with friends, other times with family. We love it there: it's by the sea, has many restaurants and shops. It's also within a short distance from both the car ferries at Calais, and also the tunnel. One point to make is that a few places are closed in February when we last visited, such as the great Cap Nord restaurant along the promenade.

Fantastic coastal town, with easy access to the Eurotunnel and ferries. We love visiting every year - so many great places to eat and the beach is wonderful. Also a great location to explore the surrounding area. For example, we visited De Panne in Belgium (about 50 minutes drive) which had a great indoor waterpark and theme park.

Wimereux has it all: beautiful walks on the beach and on...

Wimereux has it all: beautiful walks on the beach and on hills north and south, longer hiking options (beach and countryside) if you want, many restaurants and a few cute cafes and bars, the typical foodtruck with french fries, a small tourism office and many little shops. WW2 history fans, as well as late 19th century fans, will be able to go back in time with a number of nazi bunkers still visible along the beaches and countryside, as you can see the British coast on a clear day from here. On top of that: a bus and a train line bringing you to Boulogne-sur-Mer or Calais regularly, so you don't need a car. Hitch-hiking is also fine here, as long as you are respectful of course.

Room was good, great shower. Location was good, free on street parking. the hotel also has parking. Breakfast was good. Self service. Good restaurants 5 mins walk away. Not far off the A16 15Km from the Euro tunnel. Booked on the app and arrived 30 mins later.

Wimereux is a lovely little town on the coast and this small, friendly hotel is well situated for the town centre and promenade. Comfortably furnished and spacious rooms and public spaces. Very friendly and competent staff. Private car park.

Disappointed with the size of the room and there was a damp smell in the shower room. We have been visiting the hotel for some 35 years and have found that standards have dropped since being under new ownership. We will not be returning.
