Quaint. Friendly people. good choice of eating places for the size of teh village. Clean. Delicious ice-cream! small superkarket which sells variety of goods. Poor mobile phone signal. A small, pretty village with a nice beach, small supermarket, a couple of hotels where you can eat, a fabulous chip shop and bakery, a few cafes, a takeaway pizza and ice cream shops and a couple of tourist shops. The village people and guests gave us a warm welcome. Alun was very friendly and made our stay comfortable and we loved that we could speak our native language Welsh with shop owners and people around and on the outskirts . Aberdaron is the perfect place to visit if you just want to enjoy the coast, beautiful countryside,peace& quiet.Lots of excellent walking opportunities for all. We stayed at The Ship which was perfect,friendly staff,excellent room with lovely views, wonderful freshly cooked food,great service. Lots to explore around Aberdaron, just take time out & enjoy. We met Geoff shortly after arrival and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The cottage is well equipped, we enjoyed the free range eggs left for us and the bottle of red, thanks Geoff! The cottage is well kept and there is plenty of room. The internal finish is far better than most hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The outside isn’t a field but landscaped surroundings with a pond, lights, views, decking. Cannot recommend highly enough.
