Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms have been refurbished and had the best night sleep Food was very good and so was breakfast We travel the length of the country and stay in four hotels a week and only give a review when the place we stay in is outstanding. Thank you

Such a warm welcome! Cozy and calm hotel. We had the best time and best sleep (!!) as we kindly got upgraded to a 2 bed room! That was so so so sweet, as we are two friends who were ready to share the same bed and sacrifice quality sleep. Beds were so comfy, shower was amazing and all in all we were very pleased! Classic English breakfast, delicious toasts were served in the morning! Thank you, Spilman!

The room was larger and very comfortable. The walk-in shower was wonderful…hot and great water preasure. The air conditioning as an added bonus as I didn’t realise the hotel had it. The breakfasts were always lovely, hot and well stocked. The area was very easy to walk into the town centre and very safe.
