Everything about The Fanny Talbot is fabulous The accommodation is immaculate and tasteful. The staff are amazing - thank you so much, Nevin and Luke. The other staff members were brilliant also, but I don't have their names. The location with private parking close by could not be better. The Fanny Talbot restaurant is 5 stars and has amazing value. I highly recommend The Fanny Talbot. Thank you all again for a brilliant stay.

The staff at Bae Abermaw really makes you feel at home. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is amazing with lots of choices and the bar is cosy and fun. The view from the hotel is unmatched, really worth it! They are extremely dog friendly, dogs are allowed everywhere and are treated like proper guests. No request is considered too much and they are always happy to give tips and recommendations, whether it be for walks in the beautiful area or for restaurants in Barmouth. We are already thinking of going back!

My partner and myself had a lovely and relaxing stay at this lovely modern two bedroom apartment overlooking the estuary/beach and the snow peaked hills. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need including a smart tv in the Lounge with Netflix and YouTube etc. Nothing was too much trouble. The bay window with two comfortable chairs and a pair of binoculars was well used especially every morning whilst we both enjoyed our coffee. Many thanks once again for a lovely stay. Barmouth; if you don't know is surrounded by beautiful mountainous countryside, has a large expanse of sandy beach along a very accessible promenade. Good road or rail links. Personally I prefer decent main roads to the unpredictability of Motorways though roadworks seem to appear anywhere these days, so it can take a little longer, but the views make up for it for me. Plenty of places to eat and drink,

We had a Fantastic meal at the Fanny Talbot.

We had a Fantastic meal at the Fanny Talbot. We had a lovely time at the shops as there is so much variety. Rum & raisin Ice cream at the Harbour. met some lovely people. Barmouth is a Brilliant place to visit either on your own or with a Family.

Not very wonderful and absolutely dead after seven in the evening - we couldnt find anywhere to eat and finally had to settle for fish and chips in the car. Unfortunately, the tide was in both morning and evening and apart from nearer the harbour, there was no sand left to walk on We drove a few miles further towards Harlech and found a good sandy beach there although you had to pay for parking..

Lovely hotel with fab sea views, nicely decorated room and good sized en-suite facilities. Great breakfast. Certainly looked lovely and nice outdoor space to enjoy the views with a drink from the bar. Friendly welcome and all the staff we spoke to were nice and helpful. Got some good exercise with mountain walks on the doorstep and down to Barmouth village. The hotel is up a reasonably steep hill so for less mobile guests they’d probably need a car.

Great location and views. Accommodation was lovely and clean. Lovely place to stay for the weekend and so close to the town centre. Hosts were very helpful and good communication with check in details and info for the local area. Would definitely stay again if visiting Barmouth.

We loved the friendliness and the quirky decor of the Royal. The hotel was warm and cheerful on a very cold day. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile, we'd recommend the Royal to anyone visiting Barmouth but especially dog owners as every detail was covered.

Excellent hotel and location, easy street parking nearby, clean spacious room (the fridge was very useful). If I go to Barmouth again (a high possibility) I'd stay at this establishment again without any hesitation. I'd also recommend to family and friends.
