The staff at Bae Abermaw really makes you feel at home. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is amazing with lots of choices and the bar is cosy and fun. The view from the hotel is unmatched, really worth it! They are extremely dog friendly, dogs are allowed everywhere and are treated like proper guests. No request is considered too much and they are always happy to give tips and recommendations, whether it be for walks in the beautiful area or for restaurants in Barmouth. We are already thinking of going back!

Great base to explore other interesting places and especially by train. Barmouth has enough entrainment for all ages and the beach is amazing and so clean. The 13th century pub oldest in Barmouth really nice has a cave with a pool with fish in. Has cask beer and food excellent

Barmouth felt too busy on arrival.

Barmouth felt too busy on arrival. The train was overheated and very crowded for the journey back to Shrewsbury. That destroyed a perhaps-naive hope that it would be an idyllic chance to view Wales. The Last Inn does not understand customer relations: poor service, sticky tables and dodgy wine is a disappointing last impression.

Lovely spot in North Wales, lovely beach and some nice restaurants. Locals were friendly . We did a boat trip around Cardigan Bay and it was well worth the £20 per head cost, although we were very lucky with the weather. Some nice shops. We ate at The Captain’s Table (really lovely little place, food was spot on.

Excellent beach for playing on, fun sand dunes, safe and shallow sea. Plenty of places to eat out. Lovely views of the estuary, mountains etc. Great walks in the hills. Ferry and train rides were fun. Not much to do on a rainy day, though.

We were made to feel welcome from the second that we set foot into Bluebells Guest House by Bryn and his wife. The guest house is located just a short walk from the town of Barmouth (probably about 5 minutes) but is right on the seafront. The room was comfortable and quiet with a TV plus tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was excellent, we had the full English both mornings but there were other choices of hot food, plus cereal and fruit. We had an excellent stay at Bluebells Guest House and will definitely be back!

Great hotel in Barmouth! The staff was very friendly and most importantly for us as we were on a bicycle tour: we could safely store our bicycles in the cellar during our stay. The hotel is close to the beach and to many restaurants. The rooms are stylish, clean and we even had sea view. Breakfast was delicious!
