We loved our stay at Mowbray Grange. It was like home from home, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Matty made us aware of how to access the accommodation and was available if we had any issues and left lights on ready for us arriving. The accommodation was warm and cosy. Plenty parking available outside the accommodation, but off the main road. The accommodation is set just off the main road, but you heard no road noise during the night. We would definitely stay again if we needed to stay in Bedale.

Fantastic hospitality and wonderful room. A fantastically appointed room with everything you could wish for! Beautiful spacious room with a comfortable bed and soft lovely bed linen. Tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, luxury biscuits etc bathroom was fab as well. We had a gorgeous dinner in the pub too, really tasty and great value for money. Lovely team and fabulous hospitality couldn’t have been happier.

We stayed just outside of Beldale, our accommodation (The Woodman Inn) was in Burneston. A lovely quiet village about 5 miles from Beldale. Beldale town centre was a lively place, with plenty of shops but parking could be difficult.

Area is superb. Very Yorkshire! Top views everywhere. No litter, grafiti and clean. great 'Local' shops and choice to eat and drink. great friendy folk. Other towns are easy to drive to so a great location if you want to visit other locals. Very few pot holes ! We has 4 days of Sunshine! No rain.

We didnt spend long in Bedale because we went on a Sunday on our way home, but found a lovely cafe for coffee and cake. It was an interesting place would go back to spend longer when we not in a rush

I did not stay in Bedale as I booked but when I looked for hotel it was several miles from Bedale so as I did not like the room I visited Richmond instead. A lovely market town where I bought fish and chips and ate them in the market place in the sun. Would recommend Richmond

Nice little main street.

Nice little main street. Couple of shops, and able to get essentials. Quite a few pubs and lovely walk along the river for us, the kids & the dog. The only thing we missed was a pub with a garden outside for the kids to run around in & a swing slide. We couldn't find one in Bedale.

Great experience of a proper rural village hotel/country pub. The locals were very welcoming and staff were excellent. Snape is a decent walk (and lovely walk) to Bedale and taxis are hard to come by but the hotel staff offered to drive us there at night which was really appreciated. There is a planned £150k refurbishment in the New Year so it would be great to go back and see what improvements have been made. Overall a really pleasant and relaxing weekend, which is just what we wanted. Food and beer 10/10 👌🏻

Lovely cottage a few minutes walk from Bedale centre. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities of home, great wi-fi, smart TV, fully equipped kitchen & an allocated parking space right outside the cottage. A nice enclosed garden at the rear. 2 bedrooms, 1 en suite with very comfy beds. Great communication from the owner before & during the stay & the welcome pack was a nice touch.

The cottage was comfortable and well located just off the green in Crakehall (through a stone archway). Lovely walks in the area and other attractions close by. Bedale only 5 mins away is a lovely market town with a very good co-op,spa and mini Morrisons as well as pubs and restaurants ('a taste of India' was excellent).

The location was perfect, the hotel staff were all so friendly, the breakfast was scrumptious, so much choice & we had one dinner there inviting our friends along & it was very good, huge meals enough for 2 people on the one plate. Great value for money.
