The room was comfortable, the decor was gorgeous, cleanliness was 10/10, the staff were professional, inviting and helpful, the breakfast was brilliant, we enjoyed a cocktail in the sky bar, the lift was quickly fixed after it wasn't in service, the foyer is stunning and the on site restaurants provided a nice variety of quality food, the spa was beautiful and the pool clean and well maintained, all the spa facilities were working properly and the touch of free drinks was lovely.

I liked everything about this hotel, super comfy beds, quiet rooms, super clean, fluffy towels, shower gel and shampoo provided. The reception is a lovely place to relax, the bar too. I was blown away with the quality and choice at breakfast. You could eat as much as you wished. Tables were being cleaned as soon as vacated. Every member of staff were friendly, helpful and smiley. To top it all, there is a lovely oldie world pub right next door. I will 100% stay there next time I'm in Birmingham 😊....and no I don't work for the hotel group lol

The shuttle bus to the station and back. Even though it was broken down, the hotel arranged taxes to and from, and yes, I had to wait a while, but it was free. The breakfasts was brilliant, as much as you like with so much variety.

Terrible Reception and logging in process.

Terrible Reception and logging in process. Poor customer service and help when this happened. Lack of apology, if it had all gone smoothly it would have been fine. Basic room but clean and comfortable, once we actually had a room and bedding. Practical for our needs, just below our (pretty bssic) expectations. Clean and beds comfortable is best I can say.

The location of hotel is the only thing going for it.

The location of hotel is the only thing going for it. It’s close to the airport and resorts world The room was too small. One towel and hand towel for two of us. One cup for two guests. Bathroom light didn’t work and no toiletries. Door to the room had to be pushed with force to open due to carpet restricting it. The noise from the outside was so loud I thought the window was open! Mirror on the wall in a terrible position We had no sleep!!

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC.

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC. About 10 minutes walk from the centre and made a great base for us while we were attending the car show. Staff were great, room was presentable, although the carpet in room 264 was badly stained with what looked like make-up or boot polish. Slept well as the beds were comfortable. The pool and changing area was a bit small for such a large hotel, but we used this when it wasn't busy so it wasn't so bad. Breakfast was great and good value for money, booking for the restaurant is recommended as it gets busy but overall an enjoyable stay and we will be back again.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11. the 24/7 bar and kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we didnt get in until 11.30pm from the concert. Breakfast was good but not as good as other IHG hotels I have stayed in. Less choice and the coffee machine that day was not working.

As a Hotel Manager myself.

As a Hotel Manager myself. There should be no excuse for shortage of Stock. The Menu only had 5 Meals available as they did not have the items in From Ralking to the Morning Staff they were upset that the overnight staff did not do their job. This is all stuff Good management should be able to spot and resolve.The Staff looked Miserable and were not the best for politeness.

When we realised we might be a little late arriving we...

When we realised we might be a little late arriving we messaged Camilla and she was very helpful. As it happened we weren’t late but she had made provisions to let us access our rooms which was super. Our rooms were in converted stables, the beds were comfortable, showers hot and r the environment was nice and quiet. There were even horses in the stables that hadn’t been converted into bedrooms. Breakfast was exceptional and managed to satisfy two teenage boys.

Absolutely fabulous location, a few mins walk from NEC and BP Pulse Arena. Also walking distance from Birmingham International train station/Airport. Hotel is spectacularly clean, and they've thought of everything in the rooms. They have a fan in the room!!! Yes!! And you can open a window to get some fresh air in! Bar area is spacious, they do a range of food and drink, including cocktails. Staff extremely polite and friendly, and breakfast was buffet style and delicious! Literally couldn't have a better stay!

The room was very spacious and clean. There was a large television in the room with very high definition, this displayed an impressive amount of detail in the David Attenborough documentary that I was watching. The hotel is perfectly located for accessing Birmingham airport as it is directly opposite the airport. The staff were very friendly too.

Ideally situated for Resorts World Arena and the train station, both within a few minutes walk away. We parked our car at the hotel, walked to the train station and took the train into Birmingham (very quick and cheap!) then walked from the hotel to Resorts World Arena to see a concert and didn't have to use our car at all.

Birmingham airport hotel (Ibis Budget). Room was more basic than expected for the price, the Mattress on the bed was very poor, and would not compare to cheaper hotels such as Travel lodge or Premier Inn Hotels,
