The staff were brilliant, friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary biscuits were amazing. I wish they’d had bags of them for sale! The breakfast was also amazing, the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. The hotel was in an excellent location. A short walk into beautiful Southwold. We would definitely love to stay again.

Blythburgh is a great spot to explore this area of Suffolk.

Blythburgh is a great spot to explore this area of Suffolk. We found the roads easy to navigate but you will need a car. We travelled in early October so missed the summer rush! We did the Adnams Tour in Southwold, lots of samples so take it easy if driving! We would recommend the White Hart pub nearby, food was great and staff friendly.

Absolutely amazing setting and a beautiful room. Request room 4 for best views of Blythburgh Water. On a bus route too between halesworth and southwold. Beautiful walk to walberswick along a foot path along the edge of the marshes. Excellent food and staff were wonderful, especially the lovely Lisa and lovely Kirsty.

A great base for exploring Suffolk.

A great base for exploring Suffolk. We found it easy to walk to Southwold & Walberswick, via stunning scenery. The Holy Trinity church is a very interesting & beautiful building & well worth a visit. The tour (run on Thursdays at 11am) was excellent. The nature reserve makes it a really special place to stay or visit

There is not much in Blythburgh itself, apart from the church and station, but it is convenient for so many other attractions. The area has connections to Britten & Pears, there are beaches and countryside nearby and plenty of wildlife. A short drive to the East Anglian Transport Museum.
