Just loved everything about it. The staff and locals made us feel like family! Their local knowledge of the area was so helpful too. We saw places that we probably would have missed without their advice. Only wished that we could have stayed longer! The rooms, dining area etc were beautifully decorated. Everything was spot on. Located halfway between John O'Groats & Thurso, a hidden gem, Wayne the host is a wealth of information & could not be more welcoming. There are 2 pubs located 5 minutes away, we had dinner at the Northern Sands, excellent meals. Would have stayed longer if time permitted, if you're looking for peace & quiet Celtic Lodges is perfect. Highly recommend.

The place is neat and clean, everything we need are provided for. Clear instructions of how to get to the place and how to use the facilities were provided upfront. A tad cramped for a family of 5 but I think it’d be comfortable for a group of 4. BBQ hut in the location is an awesome idea! The hut is in the middle of a farm, very quiet and we loved the view! Beds were good!

I was welcomed at the door and helped upstairs with my bags.! The room was large and comfortable. I loved the tall ceilings and the view! Open and cozy all at once. I was able to choose from multiple items for breakfast. Yum! I hiked the coast of Dunnet Bay, along the cliffs, and though it was wet, it was spectacular! 10 minutes from Bank House.

Located along the north coast, it’s a great spot for exploring. There’s a very personal touch with this hotel, and we were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, as was the evening meal. We sat in the lounge in front of the fire in the afternoon and enjoyed the ambiance of a very tastefully decorated room. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

    Louise is the most friendly helpful host I have ever had the privilege to meet. Her property is lovely and in a quiet location but close to many landmarks, it is clean , comfortable and very spacious. And Louise does her best to make your stay enjoyable, we will stay here again.
