Had a great stay at Braemar Youth Hostel. Big thanks to the young guy at reception — super friendly and helpful, and a fellow motorcyclist too! He gave me great local tips and made me feel right at home. Perfect spot for bikers exploring the Highlands.

The location is central and walkable to the town facilities. Braemar is quite small but with interesting shops and facilities. Nearby Balmoral Castle is a good trip but the highlight was Ballater which was a lovely Highland town.

Wonderful setting. Excellent walks.

Wonderful setting. Excellent walks. Lovely to see the regeneration of Glen Quoich. Morrone was a challenge for two pensioners rising eighty but we made it ! Excellent food in MacPherson's. Nice coffee at The Bothy.

Lovely quaint, stately, Scottish village.

Lovely quaint, stately, Scottish village. Low key and very pretty, beautifully maintained, with small selection of great shops and places to eat. Gloriously clean air. Beautiful walking routes available, with unmatched views of Scottish scenery. Glorious!

Lovely village with interesting shops,. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Farquharsons which we rated as the best meaL of our holiday and there was a good lively atmosphere in the bar/restaurant, with friendly staff. Easy access to countryside rides.

Perfect location in the heart of Braemar. Extremely comfortable bed, room was immaculate. Lovely view out to the garden, where there is parking available. Great shower. Jennifer was the perfect host, and enjoyed a perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning, with the option of fruit, cereals, and fruit juices. Would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful Bed and Breakfast.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Cranford Guest House. Sarah is such a welcoming and most friendly host. The welcoming tea with cake was delicious and the morning breakfasts were very tasty and pleasant! The bedroom was comfortable with a great view. Braemar is a lovely and peaceful place to visit with lots of beautiful walking opportunities.

Fantastic assistance, patience and understanding from Yanick on reception who helped with our dog. Fantastic and friendly guy. Location was fantastic, quiet and right beside centre of town. We went for the Braemarathon - which was 5mins walk to start.
