Brassington is a perfect base if you enjoy hiking with fabulous walks right from the doorstep. The Old Gate pub has a small pantry of basic supplies if you need as there is no village shop. Brassington is lovely. Very quiet and in the countryside.
Brassington is lovely. Very quiet and in the countryside. The pub “The Old Gate Inn” was great and would recommend highly the Sunday roast or just a pint or soft drink. Brassington is a beautiful little village with gorgeous scenery, you can sit out in the garden a just look across the fields. The locals are very friendly, and there are plenty of walks. 2 local pubs in walking distance that served excellent food.Guest review byAnonymous
