Beautiful traditional Coaching Inn, right in the centre of Bude with free parking. Wonderful staff. Well prepared rooms with comfy beds. Restaurant does very well to accommodate allergies and restricted diets. Close to town, Bude Canal and Summerleaze Beach.

Great breakfast menu (I loved the fresh omelette), Kara is very helpful in every way, whether bus timetables or recommendations for dinner and also always good for a laugh. The bed is confi, it’s a good location near the heart of the little city and my favorite live-music pub „the Barrel“, a short walk to the beach and the coastal path, good car parking spaces nearby at the supermarket Co-Op (I payed only 6 pounds for 3 nights via the App „just park“) There are two breakfast options: at 8am and 9am. Just a remark, „Burn view“ is during the day a busy street and my room was pointing out to it, (and to the golf club and the hills behind it), some other rooms didn’t, but at night it is perfectly calm. I was out hiking during the day anyway.

    The parking is a bit pricey, crooklets car park £4.60 for 2 hours, tried to book a table at Brandon arms,phoned on Tuesday day time,to book,said for 2 people,said 7 pm was booked,offered 4.45 pm or 8.45,didn't go tried again on Thursday day time same request,told no tables but only at 4.45 or 8.45,what a coincidence I thought,then it clicked,if I ordered a table for 4 or more I would have got a table at 7pm,in my book I call it ,owner being greedy and choosey,manager appeared arrogant and not friendly

    Bude - what a beautiful place!

    Bude - what a beautiful place! Great for surfers, beach-goers, walkers, shoppers and pasty lovers. Ideal for both families and couples. Lovely atmosphere at night, and some nice eating and drinking places. Tidal pools were a bonus and lovely for a relaxing swim. Just an hour away from Padstow, Boscastle, Tintagel and Hartland Abbey.

    I love the sea pool at Bude, it's the main attraction for me. It's a beautiful location and even has hooks to hang your things! My partner likes the beautiful scenery and the shops. There is a great bakery that does gluten free cream teas that we always like to visit.

    Bude is great.

    Bude is great. A childhood holiday destination, with lots of memories attached, and somewhere we’ve returned to with our own children. Great beaches, bakeries selling delicious Cornish pasties, quaint gift shops, and within easy driving distance of Rock, Padstow, Bodmin, Tintagel, Clovelly and The Eden Project.

    Loved the sea pool but access with loads of beach kit in a trolley isnt the easiest! We actually walked across the cliff tops from the beach just to the north - so didnt exactly make it easy for ourselves but finding a car parking space in Bude is really really hard. Everywhere is packed. We had an amazing time. Great surf. Great beach. Great sea pool. Colder than expected (seemed colder than the sea...).

    Bude is lovely spot in the North Coast or Cornwall close to the North Devon Border. It has an interesting history, including the Castle, Canal & unique sea locks, breakwater and sea swimming pools - as well as beautiful beaches and coves nearby. I grew up and went to school there, so I know.

    Everything was superb: Location (minutes from the beach, bude castle and coastal walk), double bedroom with a generous ensuite, plenty of wardrobe space, free on site parking, tea/coffee facilities, excellent breakfast included in the price, friendly staff, view of the canal, well maintained hotel gardens (with the bonus of a roof garden). Minutes from excellent restaurants and the high street. very good value for money. Would stay again.

    Lovely, family-run hotel. The people were so friendly, I felt welcome from the first moment. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, armchairs cozy and the view amazing. The breakfast menu is large and the food delicious. Also the location is good: Two minute walk to the cliffs with view over the Bude Sea Pool and the ocean and also about two minutes to the town center. Could really not recommend it more!
