Lovely relaxing beach walks with cosey cafes and friendly pubs. Easy beach car parking, excellent toilets. Well signposted access to Heritage trail throughout the town. Fantastic Lifeboat station, cafe, shop and museum. Friendly volunteers that have time for a chat. Excellent dog walking facilities, clean up bins and litter picks. The area is lovely, and the beach is beautiful!
The area is lovely, and the beach is beautiful! We visited in February, when things are quiet, so had the beach to ourselves for morning and evening walks! It's a large village with a beach.
It's a large village with a beach. It's not especially scenic. There's no promenade. The beach is quite nice, and in summer it would be good for sunbathing, though you might have to walk back into the village for some of the facilities. The carvery is probably the best place to eat. You should probably think about whether it really is Caister you want to stay, and not say Sheringham, Cromer or even Great Yarmouth.Guest review byPearCiderUnited Kingdom
