Our room was marvellous with a great bed and stand-alone bath and shower, both with old style robinets. The wooden inner doors are so beautiful. All is high end quality. We had a selection of teas and coffee with daily fresh milk in our room. The choice of breakfast was abundant with homemade granola, fresh fruit, porridge, full cooked breakfast and even salmon and eggs. Too much to ask. Linda and Ian are wonderful hosts who were happy to help in any way. The views over the countryside are breathtaking. One morning we counted 60 pheasants from our window!

Tranquil location between the Cathedral city of Exeter and " Art Garfunkel's, Bridge over troubled Water, the River Exe, at Bickleigh village. Ideal location for exploring the West country and it's coast! Super helpful, welcoming, hosts, beautifully presented, very comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation. Some lovely unexpected extras, for drinks, cooking and toiletries. Perfect self catering with a private patio, for a couple or single person. A real gem 💎 There is nothing not to enjoy!

The attention to detail in the cabin is just amazing, the cabin is covered with everything you could possibly need for your stay, having said that if you need anything the hosts would do everything to accommodate a meaningful request. The location speaks for itself giving you the absolute quietness and tranquillity that Devon offers, the view from the cabin over looks the orchard and the rolling hills which at my stay were occupied with sheep. Please make sure that you allocate one evening at the cabin and use the outside fire pit, this made my stay just that little bit extra ...... or was it the extra beers? The local village is extremely friendly and the food at the Exeter pub is amazing, especially the Sunday roast, please make sure that if you book the hideaway cabin you find and use all the local stores and venues. :-)
