Chillingham Manor is a beautiful house in gorgeous grounds.

Chillingham Manor is a beautiful house in gorgeous grounds. We were staying for a wedding and the location was really handy plus the owner helped us with finding taxis which made life easier. The room was gorgeous, everything was spotless and the bed was super comfy. Our breakfast was also delicious. We’ll definitely be back but for longer!

An idyllic location in itself, picturesque and tranquil, and very close to internationally famous sites, such as Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian's Wall and the Kielder Forest Dark Skies. Nearby, there are myriad ancient churches and friendly pubs, with the latter often serving locally sourced meals for reasonable prices (and the former providing spiritual nourishment for free). I can't think of anything that I'd avoid on my next visit.

Chillingham is a scenic small village with the attractions of a castle, church and a famous breed of wild cattle. It is suitable for hiking and for driving to many popular towns and villages on the Northumbrian coast.
