I messaged you yesterday and have received no response. We arrived at the accommodation, having received confirmation and reminder emails, within 24 hours of arrival, to find that the hotel was closed and had obviously been closed for some time. There was moss on the drive and letters shoved through the letter box and nobody answered when we rang the door bell repeatedly. We then had to arrange alternative accommodation in the city, which cost much more and meant that we had to cancel the planned party with friends. I am really upset and angry, particularly when I received further emails, hoping I was enjoying my stay and an invitation to leave a review, which I will be forced to leave, if this is unresolved. This hotel i booked on booking.com called oyo ridgeway chingford is not in use and had found out that it has been closed down for a while. I booked for 2 days but it was so great that I stayed for 5 days. It’s clean, there is a chill out area downstairs with seating area in reception and garden. The gentleman at reception is great! He’s extremely respectful and professional and always offers to make me a coffee. There is a kitchen area also and the area is beautiful.
