There was nothing not to like! The accommodation was wonderful - own apartment with key and car parked just outside. What more could one want! Meals were taken in he main pub which was great. I will return next year.

Richard is the absolute best host, it felt like visiting my long lost English Grandad. The breakfast and hospitality was top notch, I would go back in a heartbeat. In an absolutely beautiful location and very quiet.

Very friendly staff, nice room. Would have loved to sit in the garden, but the weather didn't allow for it. Also, I was afraid that the street in front of the house would be noisy at night, but that was not the case. Try the in-house restaurant, they offer great food! Thanks again for the extra catering as I had to leave early and couldn't make the normal breakfast!

Acommodation with absolutely amazing, friendly and willing stuffs. There is absolutely no problem with anything. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Good menu and prices in the restaurant. Nice offer of breakfast in the cost of accomodation and I would like to praise the Cook. They have also Doggy menu in the offer. (I think that it is funny but very nice <3) It is very, not only dog friendly, hotel and what was the best like a "cherry of the top", no cost for dog. I really like to come back for next one or more night. Thank you for all. It was nice to meet you.

    This pub/hotel is billed as being in Old Sodbury, however, if you're doing the Cotswold's Way expect another mile off the route to get to this place! We did enjoy our brief stay though. Great staff. Friendly.

    Lovely town with a historic regency feel. Would love to visit for longer next time. Everyone friendly, and a good selection of shops to browse. Lovely countryside but didn't get a chance to enjoy it.

    It struck us as a friendly place with an interesting history...

    It struck us as a friendly place with an interesting history, attractive buildings and a very pleasant High Street. There were many different options for eating ; it was easy to walk and parking was freely available. It has an excellent Waitrose, a variety of markets and independent shops. It is only half an hour from the Lack National Trust, which is well worth a visit.

    Chipping Sodbury is a small town with a High Street with an array of small shops. It is steeped in history and is a pleasant place to wander round, enjoy the cafes/pubs and other eateries. There is a Waitrose supermarket. There are walks all around through green fields and rolling hills.

    Good pub food ,very good considerate staff ,and landlord ,our room was a large room,overlooking the high street its a very old coaching inn lots of character creaky floor boards low door frames ect what’s not to like, good location to wander out from , needs a bit of updating but for a 300 year old coaching inn that’s always going to be the case very good selection of pubs restaurants shops ,chipping Sodbury is a delightfull small market town we will revisit

    We stayed here with family for our wedding in chipping sodbury and it was fabulous. A grand and beautiful property with everything we needed and more including a four poster bed, a luxurious bath in the room, and drinks in the fridge! Check in was easy and clear and the hosts were so welcoming and thoughtful. Definitely recommended.

    We chose this venue primarily for its location close to Sherston. In that respect it was very convenient and we had a nice walk into Chipping Sodbury the evening we arrived. The reception on arrival was friendly and the server at breakfast was very friendly and chirpy.
