This hotel was a perfect little haven in a wonderful location in Cambridge. Friendly and helpful staff, great bar and restaurant, great pool/sauna/steam room, great cafe with delicious coffee and treats. The room was set up perfectly for our week stay, and we will definitely stay there again on a future trip. We loved how it was close to the Cam for walks/runs, and near the Jesus Green Lido for refreshing swims. It was out of the busiest part of central Cambridge but an easy walk to get there.

Everything was perfect and the staff were so very helpful. Kalpana and Marina were so kind to us and Raymond was lovely too. We had one issue on arrival and it was sorted so efficiently. We did not even have to mention our own circumstances which led to this being a problem. Well done on such great customer service.

Unlike a lot of small towns, they have managed to keep good...

Unlike a lot of small towns, they have managed to keep good basic amenities. A few shops, pubs, Anglican and Baptist Church with regular services. Community cafe. All useful for a short stay. There is also a good Takeaway doing a range of fast foods - we had great Haddock and Chips.

Shopping facilities are adequate, local eating premises are quite good but can be busy. Pleasant quiet village, easy access to Ely, Cambridge, Newmarket and a number of museums, stately homes and National Trust properties with a vast network of cross country paths.
