If your a family of animals lovers this is the place for you , this beautiful modern farmhouse is surrounded by sheep, pigs, donkeys and goats. The kids just loved the interactions with all the animals it's like staying at your own personal petting farm! The house itself is so clean and well presented and the location is superb just a 5 minute drive to Armagh or Keady. Tassagh is so picturesque and Basil Shiels Bar and restaurant is a 2 minute drive from the house, ideal spot for a drink and gorgeous food . Also the post office for breakfast is so good 👌

A perfect countryside escape for our family We had the most relaxing stay at Riverside Cottage as a family, and we couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and cozy living area. The setting is so peaceful, nestled beside the river and surrounded by nature. In the evening, we dined at Basil Sheils, just down the road, and the food was outstanding—homemade, hearty, and family-friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast there the next morning was just as impressive. It’s a brilliant place for families looking to unwind and reconnect. Whether you want to explore or just relax by the river, Riverside Cottage offers the best of both. We’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back again ourselves!

The food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment was quaint and homely. We had a fabulous time and would stay again.

Hilltop hideaway is the perfect escape!! Nothing around but the gorgeous scenery and some cows. That's all you need!! The pod it's self is beautiful, perfect for couples, going with a friend or even just yourself. Colleen was a great host. You don't have to bring much with you as she has got you covered. I definitely recommend getting the treat box!!
