The room was massive and warm and so comfortable. Very clean, the bed was a dream. Stewart made me feel welcome from the get go and took the time to suggest some other spots I could go see, which turned out to be 100% worth it. The view from my room was to die for, so I slept woth the curtains open. Highly recommend!

It has been a few years since I was last in Drumnadrochit, It has grown since my last visit. More amenities for locals and tourists, the people their are friendly, The local hub was informative and there were a lot of information signs too. Great wee place to visit.

Drumnadrochit is a lovely village next to Loch ness, there are a few village shops and a couple of pubs. You can visit the Loch ness Centre, which tells you the history of the famous Loch ness Monster. I would also recommend booking a boat tour with Loch Ness Cruises in the Village. They take you out on the Loch with their boat the Nessy Hunter, which is very good. You also have Urquhart Castle down the road, I'd recommend getting the 919 bus, this will collect you from the bus stop by the Village green and take you straight to the castle. The Loch ness Inn is a good place for food or drink and does some lovely food. You also have access to some good woodland walks too.

I stayed overnight for work purposes and so I wasn't there for my own pleasure or recreation. That said. I've been through Drumnadrochit many a time and it has always been a quaint and enchanting little village with great scenery and excellent facilities. There's a few good pubs and places to eat as well as plenty of shops catering for the outdoor traveller along with the usual passing tourists. This is more of a stopover kind of place on the Great Glen Walk or the Loch Ness tourist trail and there is plenty here for the interest of most travellers.

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart...

A great place for boat tours of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is located just outside the village. The village itself is very pleasant with a beautiful village green which had a market on it the day we left. The Fiddlers Restaurant on the village green was a great place to eat, drink and watch the world go by. Urquhart Castle is well worth visiting with a great visitor centre and Loch Ness as a splendid backdrop to the stunning castle remains.

This is from previous experience as the hotel I stayed in was some distance outside. Drumnadrochit is a lovely little town and well worth stopping over for a night on your travels. The people are friendly and helpful and I have visited many times over the years and always found it pleasant.

Fab little village, friendly and welcoming.

Fab little village, friendly and welcoming. Great base for exploring the area. Just plan your evening meals as not much choice after 5pm. Everything Nessi related can be found here. Gift shops offer a great range. Plenty of forest/waterfall walks around the area as well.

It is a nice and calm place to stay and recharge in the nature. There are a lot of hiking trails around. It is close to both Drumnadrochit where you can visit Lochn Ness centre and some giftshops and restaurants, as well as Urquhart castle. The restaurant in the Loch Ness Inn was great and I loved the possibility to sit outside by the river in the backside of the hostel.

It is a nice hotel, the room was small but comfortable, the staff was friendly. They offer breakfast in the cafe next to reception and it was good. They also have a restaurant open until 20.30h but we didn't have food there. We only stayed one night but it was ok. Pity that the Loch Ness Centre was closed for remodelling.

The location was perfect. The restaurant looked out over loch ness. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was cramped yet offered a lovely hot shower. Breakfast options were amazing and even gave us takeaway coffee. Great service from reception to the restaurant. Happy and very obliging.

Leanne was excellent and was very passionate about the hotel and service. We were missing breakfast due to an early start at the Inverness Etape and the chef had made us a breakfast the night before. Food in the restaurant was also very nice.
