An excellent hôtel in every way. A modern looking building on the seafront in a prime location. Welcoming staff on arrival. I had a super little single room with a seaview and a huge balcony. The room is very well equipped. The breakfast choice is excellent and it is a lovely room overlooking the sea. I will definitely be returning.

Everything. This was the third time I stayed at the Lansdowne and I don't know how they do it, but somehow with every stay they always exceed my expectations. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the hotel is at a great location, right opposite the beach. Our room was beautiful, larger than expected. Very clean. Amazing breakfast - plenty of choice (from continental to English breakfast).

The beach and surroundings areas are very good, other parts of the coast are easy to get to, there are good shopping facilities, theatre and cinema. Parking at the Burlington is good if you make sure you reserve it when you arrive, this cannot be done in advance.

Wonderfully relaxing strolling along the promenade from one end to the other. Good shops in the centre near the station. The beach is pebbly at high tide but has sand at lower tides, with rocks to explore on the cliff end of the promenade.

We were only in Eastbourne for a couple of days and had visited it in the past so we already had a basic knowledge of what was there. We had gone to revisit Beachy Head and walk some of the Seven Sisters so only spent two evenings in the town. Both our evening meals were at the Belgian Cafe - the second evening we were there for New Years Eve. The food, staff and atmosphere was great and we would definitely recommend it.

Fun place to be great restaurants likecmalayalam and the beacon has a roast dinner at shades in the restaurant. It’s a friendly place with a beach that you can sometimes if lucky find seaglass on. I love the promenade and historical old hotels. The piers always fun with the starlings flying around and I just love the place! Hope you will too! I love walking up the hill with the wackiest place for a football pitch and friendly coffee shops by the Italian gardens and opposite the hill. So many hidden treasures in charity shops and just great food Toby carvery at Christmas for delivery was handy. Local pizzeria was very good too we had cheese pineapple olives at puzza2nite reasonable price.

Eastbourne is a very lively, friendly place to visit. Even in the cold of November we experienced some lovely walks along the prom. Everybody we past either spoke to us, nodded as they passed by. The shopping centre was excellent, and the choices for food were in abundance.

Great village feel-like location in suburb of Eastbourne with 10 minutes easy car access to town centre and seafront. Excellent for nearby surrounding countryside walking and centrally good for exploration of sights and towns further afield across south downs. Nice cosy cottage base to come back to with two pubs and restaurant close by. Excellent cottage TV services for evenings in. Log burner a plus for comfort. Kitchen facilities very good. Nice clean modern bathroom.

First and foremost, the staff. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable room with stunning sea views. Comfortable lounge and bar areas with a great selection of prints on the walls. Good choice of breakfast and lunch/dinner menus in the restaurant and the adjoining conservatory area with sea views. Excellent bar food and drink. The free shortbread or flapjack with tea or coffee was a nice touch. Cleanliness throughout the hotel, inside and out.

The room itself was clean and the sheets were crisp white and the TV and shower worked.... So that was good. The two people we saw working there were pleasant and l friendly. It was cheaper than staying in the Premier in and right on the seafront so perfect eastbourne location. Parking was available but you had to find it in the backstreets behind the hotel
