Rooms were spotless clean and beds very comfortable.our breakfast on the 3 mornings was fresh and a great selection.We had our evening meal in the restaurant one one night and it was gorgeous.Staff were so friendly and helpful we will definitely be returning again.

The hot tub was amazing with such a chilled environment. I used it for recovery after an ultra marathon, place was perfect! Also.a little bar area of you drink that was pretty cool! Great location next to all kinds of shops and restaurants if needed!

Wonderful building and the place was absolutely spotless. Superb location, just an easy 5 minutes walk into town. Gorgeously decorated and the little touches did not go unnoticed. Tracey the manager was so friendly and welcoming.

really good value for money, close to train station, just 45 min and 8£ away from Liverpool, close to the food shops and restaurants, close to the town centre. very pretty Chester town as well! breakfast was abundant, beds were comfy, bathroom as well! we also had welcoming drinks which was lovely, absolutely recommend, even if you paln to see Liverpool or Manchester, staying here is the smartest and most pleasant thing to do!

Lovely, quiet and elegant. I would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the b grounds. My suitcase had been lost by National Express and when I arrived at midnight the whole staff at the desk turned out to help me file a claim, make me tea, etc. Thanks to Susan and the rest of them my bag was found!

Great hotel staff very welcoming.swimming pool was great after a long day at Chester zoo. Lovely food lots of choices. Children loved it with surprise treats.hotel set in lovely location.would definitely recommend. We had booked a house very near the zoo way back in January and was let down just a week before our family birthday treat and A level result.glad it happened now as we got a lot more from the hotel.

I have booked 2 rooms for the day before and after 3 hours...

I have booked 2 rooms for the day before and after 3 hours driving and almost arriving, they called me saying that could only supply 1 room. They have big issues on their booking system. I have to sort my stay in another hotel and next day they had 2 rooms available and they gave to our family, 1 room in second floor and another in the ground floor, near the restaurant. They said straight that they couldn´t moove one room to stay near. The door to the corredor was always open and the noise on the ground floor room was a problem.

The hotel is a good hotel, clean, friendly informative staff, and helpful, the breakfast was really good and you could help yourself to what ever, cereal, hot food and continental , plus bread, croissants etc, and they served till 11a.m, the views were delightful, and you are only 10 minutes away from Chester or the outlet, if you want a comfy stay you need to consider this hotel

Location was great for shopping at Cheshire Oaks and...

Location was great for shopping at Cheshire Oaks and visiting The Blue Planet Aquarium and Chester Zoo. Not far away for shopping and dining in Liverpool and all its attractions. Ellesmere Port had interesting features around the Manchester canal, with ships and picturesque canal boats. Good variety of restaurants and had a lovely meal at Miller & Carter restaurant in Cheshire oaks. Very easy to get around with good motorway links. People are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in an ideal place to visit the National...

The hotel is in an ideal place to visit the National Waterways Museum, which is fascinating and well worth a visit. Signage to the hotel and to the museum are pretty dire, though, if you don't know the area ,and the council really needs to get this sorted satisfactorily. It's a central point to visit many local attractions and cities and is easily accessible from the motorway.

Excellent staff very friendly and obliging. Highest praise goes to possibly the best ever choice for breakfast both for quality quantity and overall choice - in my honest opinion the best I’ve ever had in a hotel ! However a good location in proximity to accessing the local motorway.

We fancied a little hotel stay with a swimming pool to enjoy with the granddaughters close to home so the kids didn’t get bored on a long drive and we weren’t disappointed with holiday Inn Ellesmere Port. Heated pool a big plus and a sauna was a lovely bonus.

Location was paramount, so on paper this property fitted the bill. We had an elderly relative with us, so the fact that the property had two bedrooms was preferable to a hotel stay. The property was generally clean and comfortable.
