Farnham is a lovely town with lots of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from, as well as plenty of shops to look around. It's a very pretty place with a good range of green space and parks to explore. There's lots of interesting history too, with old buildings and architecture to discover. Didn't visit the town as I was working. Traffic is an issue with lots of road works and some traffic light systems that clog up the road quickly and put up the price of a taxi ride! Taxis the most expensive I have experienced over the travelling I have done over recent months. Uber not always available. The only option was a full English breakfast at £16.95pp. As we did not want a cooked option we did not want to pay £16.95 when we would only be eating cold choices. Disappointing. The location is excellent. The hotel is down a small country lane next to a very attractive large pond and it is very quiet area. Their little boy was friendly. It was Halloween, so dad and he were decorating their driveway with giant pumpkins.
