Excellent accommodation. Spotlessly clean and my double room was to a really high standard. I loved the communal lounge and spacious kitchen area which included utensils, pots and pans etc. and there was also tea, coffee and milk available which was an added bonus. The owner made sure there was plenty of information available and he was on hand if needed close by at the Queens Head Pub. I will definitely return again..

Received a warm welcome and such care from staff who located a 3-prong plug (I had forgotten to pack) and tailored meals to be gluten-free. I highly recommend the Cow and Calf. Phenomenal view of the moor and rock formation.

An absolutely brilliant hotel to stay in. Starting from the arrival, to the visit in the restaurant and the visit to the bar, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was simply superb. Beds were comfortable and it was ideal for us as we were touring by motorbike. Safe free parking was also a big bonus for us.

Cottage was lovely. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything we needed. Location was perfect for us- great walks in area: on the moors, Chevin woods, both recommended. Local pubs provided good food. We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Glorious weather was an added bonus. Highly recommend.
