My mum and I had a wonderful stay at Giffnock Rooms. The location is excellent, with everything you need nearby and a great restaurant just across the road. The property itself is beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we chose one with an ensuite for extra privacy, which was perfect. We also had a peek at the shared bedroom, and it looked absolutely wonderful too. Short walk to train station. £4.50 return to Glasgow centre. £22 for 4 single by taxi. 3 toilets. One bathroom with bath and shower. One room en-suite. Well equipped. Rooms far better than 3 star more 4/5 star and stylish. Food in bar/grill very good and reasonably priced. Family owned and run. Tea/coffee making facilities provided. The Tunnocks tea cakes were a particularly nice touch. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Scottish breakfast was very well presented and very tasty.
