We really really enjoyed this stay. There was only one other couple staying in the accommodation so it was really quiet which was perfect (and the other couple were lovely). The room had everything we needed (except shampoo/conditioner - I used the hand wash instead which could have been risky but it actually did a fine and glossy job!). We utilised the kitchen/common room facilities and everything was there that we were expecting. We knew there were no cooking facilities so we'd packed up a pre-prepared picnic dinner; being able to use the plates, crockery and washing up facilities was therefore great. The breakfast was delicious - a great continental served in the café with lovely croissants. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff we met were absolutely lovely and we had a really beautiful stay. We also did the oak, juniper and heather routes around the centre before coming back for a delicious chai and mocha the afternoon we left.

a very well appointed home-from-home in a fantastic location! lovely owners who bent over backwards to help us (especially with our car in the snow); really delicious generous breakfasts and additional thoughtful touches such as cake in the room; very comfy bed, tastefully decorated room using local Harris Tweed, luxury bathroom facilities; close enough to Portree to be convenient but far enough away to have a wonderful view; cannot be faulted - highly recommended

I needed a place to stay which I could use as a base for my own planned activities: visits to Wester Ross, Inverness and Skye. The Cluannie Inn was ideal for this purpose, but other options (available on Booking.com) appear to be very good/excellent - in particular around Invergarry and Spean Bridge. The scenery in Glenmoriston and Glen Shiel is strikingly beautiful.

Beautiful and meticulously maintained grounds and home. They have thought of everything a traveler hopes to find or wishes they would find when staying at a B & B. Delicious and sumptuous breakfast. Great hosts who are open to good conversation and care about their guests comfort. Absolutely trouble free and a pleasure to experience.

The hotel price looks like 5 star hotel but what you have is just regular B&B level. - Instead of view from the window you have set of facilities, - furniture looks new but already a bit broken, - single flea bite my wife, - internet connection is stable only next to the reception (first floor even next to router lost connectivity every few minutes), - the walking tracks are not walkable directly from the Inn, you need to walk on a busy road first.

Even though our stay at The Cluanie Inn was the most expensive out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip, it was well worth it. The breakfast was solid, and the rooms were cozy and clean. As a bonus, in the morning we were greeted by several deer right outside of our windows. There was also a small farm with highland cows that we could play with for just £2, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

The service was great the ppl are so nice! it was my boyfriend i asked them if we can have a piece of cake to surprise him and they offered the cake on the house and even an update for our room that I did not expected! The hotel is really beautiful and clean,the food is also amazing! I will always return there if i have the chance!

Love the location of the hotel and all the facilities they have available as we traveled with our dog. They have provided dog beds and everything you need for a good stay. Thy also provided us with a packed breakfast as we had to leave early.
