We were booked into a smaller room which was not big enough for us. Super staff upgraded us for a small extra cost to newly refurbished room which was much bigger. I enjoyed the gym and the pool and the sauna/steam room.

The bed was comfy, I slept really well. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing. The Eagle and Child is in a brilliant location for bus travel to Blackpool or Lancaster or Preston. The local shops and boutiques are full of local produce.

What a find ! The host very welcoming. The lodge is beautiful. The dog care package was very sweet. Fresh milk, tea, coffee etc. Sweet treats, toiletries.

    18 minute drive to Blackpool beach Everything is walkable from the apartment. There is a grass park 15 minute walk if you want to let your dog off lead Post office, bakers, fish and chips and pizza all on the square
