Hemsby was a quiet place with nice surrounding, good entertainment if you want it. Ample places to get food at good price and quality. Dog friendly beach’s both north of there and in Great Yarmouth. Recommend you visit Gorleston on sea if you have a dog beach is pet friendly at the one end. Hemsby beach is lovely and sandy.
Hemsby beach is lovely and sandy. The sea was clearer than i thought it would be. I especially liked that when the tide goes out it leaves alittle sea section on the beach so little ones can play in it and be watched without worrying about the tide taking them out. Lovely shops and food as well. The is a nice go kart track as well for all the family to enjoy and alittle fair ground part as well. Hemsby is one of the most family friendly places we have visited which is why we return annually. The dolphin bar was brilliant and main Hemsby only a 10 minute easy walk away. John came very quickly when we ran out of gas. Very dog friendly area with plenty of dog poo bins. Lovely park and very child safe and friendly. Best beach I've been on in the UK. Great supply of WiFi, games and TV. Really handy having the decked area for the dog.
