Glad we could walk around town, traffic very heavy and even gridlock one day, burst main I believe. Lovely little market on Thursday morning. Loved it, will go back to book festival next year, amazing number of events/authors.

The front desk was terrible and gave us a downgrade on our room and then told us there was nothing that could be done due to being sold out and because we used Bookings.com. We complained, asked for the manager and showed the pictures on a Superior room from their website and on our booking. He moved us to a family room, but it had 2 double beds and two chairs seating vs a Superior room has a king bed and a settee and a desk. It was not what we wanted, but it was better than the standard room with a king bed (incredibly small room) that they tried to put us in.

Henley is a beautiful town, with very friendly locals, and fantastic bars and restaurants (plus a Wetherspoons if that's what you're after!) The river is full of activity, and boat trips are available. It's very pretty, the surrounding area is also worth visiting

Scenic and interesting place to visit with a variety of shops, mainly upmarket, and numerous venues at which to eat and or drink including a very large Wetherspoons. There are several charity shops. Lots of activities on the riverside including those for children. High street parking was paid for by using an app but there are other car parks including the one by the rowing museum. There are free public toilets in the park near the museum.

We loved Greenlands Hotel. From the moment we walked into the reception area we were greeted by Irina who was very friendly and hospitable. Our accommodation was located outside of the main hotel but only a short walk away. Our room was lovely ,just what we expected. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful so tranquil. We also had an amazing breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were polite & courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Friends had booked dinner at the Stag and Huntsman so we cancelled our booking at a different hotel and decided to stay here and we're really pleased we did. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and the free wifi is excellent. The meal the night before was really good. The staff are lovely. The free parking was appreciated. The view from our room was stunning especially as the blossom was in bloom.

Water Cottages was truly exceptional 5 star rating. From check in to check out, nothing was to much. Breakfast had an exceptional choice, fresh and ordered to suit. The quaint surroundings of the area and the cottages we stayed in was what's fabulous for a long weekend. Thank-You

Great location in the centre of Henley. Exactly what I expected from a Wetherspoons Hotel, good quality room and the convenience of the bar/restaurant below. A nice place to stay without being spectacular
