The staff are so nice and so helpful! They were always offering to help. My favorite was Kevin in the pub because I was there with a dog, and I couldn't go in the restaurant so we spent most of our time in the pub. He was very welcoming and we not only enjoyed the pub atmosphere but also the great food that was served in the pub. The location is so beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. If I'm ever in the area I will most definitely stay here again. I loved it.

Friendly welcome and upgrade to a double room for more space at same price set the tone of an enjoyable stay. The associated pub was a friendly environment to spend the evening and did excellent evening meals and breakfasts. Will definately look out for Green King hotels again.

I liked the friendliness of the guy that was working there when I checked in. He carried my bags all the way to my room. He showed me a couple of the nice in the house. And the bed that I slept in was very comfortable! It was very soft like a cloud and the pillow was nice and the blanket was nice and I slept so well. Clean. They were cookies there for me to eat. All together just a lovely stay. And the building was gorgeous.

Fir tree lodge room 8 not fit for purpose. Noise heard from neighbouring rooms and bed stuck against wall! Whole hotel is very dated and a bit too business/conference based rather than comfy/cosy country hotel which it should be. Staff very friendly though and breakfast was enjoyable.

The White Hart Was a great choice for us for a couple of...

The White Hart Was a great choice for us for a couple of nights. We were room only so can’t comment on the breakfast but we eat there in the evening and it was all good. We could recommend Hook Tandoori and Cafe Baristas for breakfast. There’s not a lot in the village but Farnham is not far and a lovely Town.

The look of the County Hotel is exceptional.

The look of the County Hotel is exceptional. The surroundings are picturesque. Rooms are good. The reception is very welcoming. Car park has plenty of spaces. The disabled car parking spaces are very near to the Reception entrance, which was very convenient. Free wifi. Not too far from the hustle bustle of London. I should have known from the price that it would not be to...

I should have known from the price that it would not be to the standard I expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size but the bathroom was small and a bit dated. Set in extensive grounds. We decided to eat there and were delighted to find that they offered a normal menu as well as an Indian menu. My wife is a vegitarian and likes Indian food but was disappointed in dishes available for her. Her pompadoms were served after her main and she left them. I had a steak but the chips were very over cooked. The waitress gave me a free glass of wine to compensate. Breakfast was not nice. The tables were left uncleared and I had to join a long queue to get a cup of coffee. We would only stay there again if we were desparate.

A beautiful building, the hosts were so friendly and our room was lovely. The gardens surrounding the house were lovely. The breakfast was really nice, we would definitely stay here again, it was wonderful.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Hook, we stayed at Warbrook...

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Hook, we stayed at Warbrook House (a stunning yet affordable heritage hotel) where we spent the afternoon exploring the grounds and ate at the restaurant which was very pleasant. The next day we went to West Green House Gardens which was absolutely delightful! We didn’t want to leave. We spent our final evening in the ‘Tally Ho’ for dinner which was delicious with great service too. We will definitely return for another trip as there were many beautiful areas and walking routes which we didn’t get round to exploring.

We stayed in the Grange and it was lovely to be away from the main hotel. The bed was comfortable, albeit two single beds pushed together. The bathroom was a really good size and the soundproofing was good also. We had a quiet and comfortable sleep. The breakfast was decent, and offered a fair variety. I think my overall favourite thing was the grounds - if you like nature, and tranquility then you will like the grounds of this hotel.

Lovely chatty empathetic woman during phonecall asking about pool opening and breakfast price. Amazing price for pool use. Lovely pool and staff but didnt get chance to use pool. Breakfast good value. Nice clean dining room with nice outlook onto trees. Comfortable bedroom with nice outlook onto courtyard. Hotel had friendly feel with friendly helpful staff.

The building is beautiful, with a very pleasant reception area, lounge and dining rooms. Staff were helpful and very efficient. The hotel cat was endearing. Although my room was smaller than an average hotel room, it had all the necessary facilities and a comfortable bed. We had drinks in the bar, and breakfast in the dining room. Cannot fault anything.

The hotel itself was a lovely property to be around in, facilities were great, only thing I would say was there was no aircon in the room we had and it was a particularly humid evening- but apart from that couldn’t fault the hotel/ staff atall! Staff couldn’t do enough and hotel was lovely.
