A jewel with historic buildings and charming streets, Inverness is surrounded by a typical Scottish Highland landscape. It is located 10 km from Loch Ness, along the mouth of the Ness River and the Moray Firth coast. It is regarded as the northernmost city in the United Kingdom, and capital of the Highlands.

Fabulous city, easy going , feels safe and friendly even late on a Saturday night. Eden Court Theatre , great venue saw the Budapest Cafe Orchestra there who were brilliant entertertainers. Lovely River Walk along tbe Ness. Beautiful Botanic Gardens with great cafe. The Glen Mhor Distillery and Brewery was a great place to chill out and listen to live music. Your museum was excellent. Unfortunately some sites were closed. The pubs were great fun. The food was good, the people were friendly, and the music was great. Russell, the owner gave us a lot of useful insider information about Inverness and Scotland in general. In the morning he provided us a fabulous breakfast according to our wishes. Our room had a private bath and everything was absolutely clean. The beds were very comfortable so that we wanted to stay longer in this cosy home.
