We liked the super comfy beds, the room was on the small side but comfy, had everything we needed, great lightning, many wall sockets, a comfortable armchair, a big mirror, a clever two-functional door in the bathroom. Breakfast was good. We also bought dinner the evening we came. Apparently the selection was limited because one of the ovens wasn´t working. The food was really good though and not too expensive. I really liked my vegan curry.

Johnstone or Paisley are perfect for train travellers wanting to explore Scotland. Direct Routes to the Ayr, Ardrossan, Largs which get you over to the islands on the west coast and Balloch for Loch Lomond. 15mins from Glasgow by train. Great Cycling routes to Lochwinnoch passing Kenmure Temple. Other places by car I'd really recommend a visit to: Culzean Castle, Hill House, Willow Tea Rooms Tour, Dumbarton Castle, Mugdock Park, Portencross Castle, Conic Hill, Ben A'an, Paisley Abbey, Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis. The River Inn at Crosslee has fabulous food.

This was a last minute stay after being let down by another hotel. The staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly - it was a very nice hotel and close enough to get to the airport early in the morning.

Excellent hotel with outstanding room, very luxurious! Staff being very friendly and giving valuable advice. Good breakfast, coffee, tea and chocolates in the room, free parking, beautiful garden. 18km from Glasgow centre, but only a 10' walk from Johnstone station, from there 15' by train to Glasgow central. Easy and cheap (5,4£ pp return off-peak). So no parking issues, parking in Glasgow is rather expensive and customers complain about the parking facilities.
