We had a lovely stay in the Hare and Hounds. The room is charming and has recently been redecorated. It's very tastefully decorated, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The pub is also very nice, with a contemporary feel. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the pub, and we found both excellent. Staff is friendly, the service was good, and I would say both accommodation and food are very good value for money. The location is good, with parking at the front. We also found some nice paths to walk our dogs in the surroundings. The dog friendliness is very much appreciated by us dog owners! A big thank you to the team in the Hare and Hounds for their kindness, and warm and welcoming service.

This is a very special place the atmosphere was very cosy friendly and happy and we loved that it is owned by the community ,the room exceeded our expectations the decor was great loved the colours grey blue really comfy bed add powerful shower even loved the tiles in the bathroom! Couldn't fault this little Gem, and the Hosts were fabulous and so understanding. I have quite a few health issues and when I had a bad turn early on and struggled to make checkout they were so attentive to my needs, honestly I can't recommend this place enough. It's beautiful.

The house is terrific, very clean and warm, and it's beautifully made. Jonathan is an amazingly kind host and I suggest you to take a tour of the old mill if you have time.

Lovely hotel, good location, we booked it as a base to get...

Lovely hotel, good location, we booked it as a base to get into Barnoldswick. Easy to book a taxi into Barnoldswick. The bar was well stocked and managed. The hotel served food until 9pm, we however only had breakfast there. Breakfast was good, self service in the bar area. Room 1 was very small not really for a couple, more suited to single room. Only one side table and one chair. Shower cubicle a bit small. Room 22 ( our riends room) however was large and 2 double beds !

The hotel was a complete surprise - lovely room with great...

The hotel was a complete surprise - lovely room with great views and our car right outside. Very snuggly bed, truly lovely staff, really nice food too. The only slight blip was the outdated bathroom however, it was still better than others we have stayed at (why do some venues only offer a tiny sink?). Overall, very happy to return, and for much longer. Exceptional value.

You just felt welcome from the minute you arrive and this continues throughout your stay. Food was good too. There was a leaflet showing walks from the hotel what a great idea, and the one I took down to the canal was very enjoyable. I didn’t see any member not looking to see if they could help a customer all were a credit to the management what a great team.

From check in to leaving this was a great place to stay. A really great find. Everything was good from the room to the food which I would highly recommend. It was good for visiting places in either Lancashire or Yorkshire.

The cleanliness of the restaurant/ bar and the rooms was outstanding The food was out standing as was the service. Very polite and friendly staff who were always on hand to help and serve. It’s a long time since I have stayed overnight in a hotel with such fantastic staff, food and rooms.

Looking for an overnight stop, we chanced on The Craven Heifer, and what a lucky find it proved to be! A comfortable, well-equipped room and excellent food for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The surrounding countryside is very attractive and there are scenic walks that you can do from the hotel.

Lovely hotel, every effort was made to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast was self serve but wow everything was cooked perfectly - went back for a bacon sandwich after my full English. Staff were very friendly and helpful - perfect location for me. Extremely good value for money. Would love to come back.

Fabulous hotel , really nice staff, shout out to Oliver who was lovely and seemed like he genuinely cared we had a nice break and he helped out with our room, however all staff seemed really lovely. Customer service is top notch! Breakfast and evening meal delicious and toiletries in room were luxurious.

The cottage was peaceful,cozy and exceptionally decorated. I had no problems following Lisa’s instructions to enter the property and the price was fantastic in comparison to local hotels in the area. I had a relaxing stay as I used it as a base to go walking in nearby Malham.
