The outstanding views made me really homesick, absolutely stunning views of Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Ayrshire coast. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were very spacious. Staff were very professional and friendly. The breakfast is to die for. As a Scot who lives abroad to be able to come to a hotel with such a breakfast choice where I can build my own with the breakfast items I love and miss is a real treat. Thank you

I really liked Dean Castle and Kay Park.

I really liked Dean Castle and Kay Park. The Dick Institute is well worth the visit, nice to see the Johnny Walker exhibit. My Dad was a cooper for Walkers and brought back great memories. Since I grew up in Kilmarnock, much of the city is familiar so visiting the houses and streets that I frequented were a trip down memory lane. I enjoyed seeing the Burns Monument looking good once again. I have family photos of it being built and relatives enjoying visiting it in the 1960's. I could have spent more time in Kilmarnock and Riccarton exploring family history, maybe next time.

Enjoyed the scenery travelling to Kilmarnock and the shops.

Enjoyed the scenery travelling to Kilmarnock and the shops. People seemed friendly. I had the opportunity to visit a large equestrian retail shop and had lunch at Eden garden centre which made excellent food. The Park hotel was a short drive away from the retail shops/town centre with plenty of parking places.

Not the best person to rate Kilmarnock. I was born,brought up and lived in Kilmarnock till I was 40. Sadly it is a shell of a town,from what it used to be like. Can't reccommend for a night out.Few,if any places to get a nice meal. Pubs are rough. I come back to Kilmarnocjk every month to see my children and grandchildren. But if we want a night out we go to Prestwick or Glasgow, Pains me to write this. It was such a vibrant town. But that was long ago. But I still support Killie.

Hotel not a 4 star. Very noisy due to time of year. Typical hotel for people who use it for work. Not a luxury stay. Breakfast charge of £4 extra for salmon was ridiculous. Not top end ingredients. Continental choice very basic. Stayed for 18 days Payment taken upfront. I would have moved if this wasn’t the case. Blues restaurant food ok dependant on chef.

The shopping, like most places, isn't what it used to be but...

The shopping, like most places, isn't what it used to be but everything is there for the necessities. We ate in The First Edition on Bank Street and at The Cotton Mill Cookhouse + Pub beside The Premier Inn at Moorfield Roundabout. We used the train to get to Glasgow. It was only a 5 minute walk to the train station and 30 minutes into Glasgow central.

Lovely hotel room size excellent plenty of complimentary items eg bottled water and toiletries. Breakfast was OK but evening meals both nights top class. Staff friendly would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is ideally placed for events in Kilmarnock. The new Blues restaurant and coffee club are beautiful. Room was very spacious, with tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a bath and toiletries, hairdryer and the robes and slippers were provided. There was a decent view of the stadium and part of the match from the window. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we raised an issue over our bed and they were amazing at helping us resolve kt. (It's very much appreciated!)

Hotel is easily accessible from the motorway and to say where it is situated you cannot hear passing traffic in your room. Room on a whole was a decent size with a comfortable bed. Evening meal was lovely although the service was very slow as it seems staff were working both in the restaurant and at an event that was taking place at the same time. Breakfast was nice although wasn't expecting instant coffee when there is a coffee machine in the bar area.

Nothing, couldn't get in to the place. Host didn't provide any details on how to enter the stay until the morning after at which point we had to pay for another hotel. Have tried to get the money back through booking.com but they passed the blame onto the host and are unwilling to help. Booking.com asked to to contact the host for a refund and not heard from the host either
