The location on King St was very good , plenty of shops and...
The location on King St was very good , plenty of shops and places for refreshment. Stayed 2 nights at the Rose and Crown, visited a few pubs including The Lord Eldon chatted with the locals who all seemed friendly and gave us good advice. We were guests at a friends wedding at the Culshaw estate , a beautiful venue just a couple of miles away (over peover) Local taxi came on time to the venue . Brilliant visit to Tatton park, we were very lucky to see the deer at very close up range. Lovely location for the shops, fish and chip shop did a lovely fish supper within walking distance of the cottage. We used to live in Knutsford 12 years ago so only needed some where to stay. We were just up for one night for a family meal before going...
We were just up for one night for a family meal before going over to Nottingham. There are some very interesting buildings in Knutsford, from old half timbered up to arts and crafts style buildings so a nice place to street walk. Just a hundered yards or so away you are on the edges of tatton park so can walk quite a way in the 1000 acres of parkland.Guest review byNickUnited Kingdom

It is right by a heath, green and wooded area whilst having everything on your doorstep from shops, restaurants, pubs, train station near by. It was perfect for me, plus they left milk and teabags, great after I had a long journey - some hosts don't provide that, I appreciate the touch.
