Excellent stay. Luxurious room with bedding that was super high quality. Lovely finishing touches to the room were excellent but homely. Meal in restaurant and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

The breakfast was great, food, staff and dining room was extremely pleasant. I’d been wanting to stay at Shrigley for years and my stay exceeded my expectations. The room with the view overlooking the front was amazing and I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the original features and history of the building it has a real Downton Abbey feel to it. Beautiful building full of character, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and all in all a lovely atmosphere. We live in The Netherlands and were traveling with 2 children (aged 1 and 4). The staff really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. A baby cot and comfy camp bed were provided for the kids, there were plenty of high chairs and the staff were thoughtful enough to even put some extra bottled water in the room for us.
