It was a lovely couple of days.
It was a lovely couple of days. Lots to see and do within a short car ride. It was a shame that a wedding party arrived on our second night with happy but boisterous ladies. The staff were excellent, nice and very helpful. Breakfast was average and the evening meals were adequate, but the hotel was lovely as you would expect from a country manor house, very quirky too. The room and especially the bathroom are superb, very cleanly kept too, Would we go back ? Levens is a pretty little place, narrow roads and lanes...
Levens is a pretty little place, narrow roads and lanes require care though it was not busy. I'd recommend the Hare and Hounds as a great place to eat, good food, friendly staff and reasonably priced.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom

It is an absolute gem. Lovely room, big bathroom with a bath and separate shower very nicely appointed. Fantastic food both at breakfast and dinner. The staff were absolutely lovely which you need when travelling alone. I stayed an extra night.
