Huge house which has been finished to a very high and comfortable standard. The facilities were brilliant and even with 16 of us (plus a dog) in the house we didn't feel on top of each other. Kitchen and bar area are very well equipped with everything you could need. Henry and Penny were very friendly and helpful. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

We went for jazz and found lots to do in Leyburn - excellent shops including wonderful supermarket and deli and upstairs wine emporium. Disappointed by food on offer in pubs - not very varied. One high end restaurant (booked out and a bit expensive for us ) and takeaways but nothing in between like a mid range bistro.

Recommend a stay for three to four nights , easily enough to do. However finding a venue that serves food on a Monday / Tuesday evening can be a slight challenge so would recommend to go from Tuesday onwards.

Leyburn is a proper old market town with a relaxed and...

Leyburn is a proper old market town with a relaxed and friendly ambience. Diesel was cheap. There are lots of beautiful viewpoints in the area, from the pretty but small Harmby waterfall to the more grand Aysgarth Falls just up the road. We'd definitely visit again.

Leyburn is a lovely village we went to several of the bars for food and drinks, everyone we met while in Leyburn, Hawes an other villages in the surrounding area was extremely friendly we had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Saddle Room you must visit this a beautiful area.

We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn.

We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn. We enjoyed browsing in the diverse collection of local shops. We had a cooked breakfast in the small restaurant overlooking the market place and a drink in The Bolton Arms. Overall a pleasant town that we would retun to.

Staying in the centre of this lovely town (Market Place) is...

Staying in the centre of this lovely town (Market Place) is a good idea as several worthwhile things are close by, including the Wensleydale Railway (preserved diesel locomotives), a distillery and the town's attractive shops as well as a couple of restaurants. Walk a few yards away from town in any direction and the views across Wensleydale are superb. A really good place to visit for a night or two. Paradise for serious walkers, but also for those who want shorter strolls in a fabulous landscape.

Such a lovely house which is home from home. Everything was excellent. Just a walk into town with plenty of eating houses and pubs and the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep. What more ciuld uou want? Instructions to get into house was a peice of cake. Thank you to the owners, may you go from strengh to strength. Lovely touch of welcome pack on arrival.

Peaceful short walk across a field to leyburn town for pubs and food plenty of takeouts ect owners are avalible on site saw when we got there and left would defently come again shower toilets ect very clean we had 2 pods
