We booked this hotel as we were attending a wedding in...
We booked this hotel as we were attending a wedding in Clifton and visiting my family located in Street, so this was a great halfway option. Most important for us was the need to have an accessible room for my elderly mother and me as well as an adjoining room for my partner as he needed to be close by in case Mum fell. This is not an easy feat! The original rooms I had booked were not suitable as the hotel rooms are located on different levels. However, the hotel contacted me straight away to advise that we had been moved to different rooms situated on the ground floor with disabled access and parking as well as easy access to both the room and the restaurant/bar facilities. This room also had the additional benefit of a sofa bed for me so I didn't have to share the bed with my mum (although it was huge!) and an adjoining room perfect for us. The room was large, and the bathroom was utterly accessible as described. It had everything we needed for the 2-night stay. We also used the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, as well as the bar, and it was excellent. The hotel is lovely and in a very beautiful location. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly at all times, and we could not fault anything.Guest review byDeborahUnited Kingdom
